THE HEARLUME SYSTEM
What makes HearLume different from standard earplugs? Most earplugs are "plugs"—they simply block the ear canal, which muffles sound and distorts clarity. HearLume is a precision hearing protection system. We use interchangeable acoustic filters that act like a "volume knob" for the world, reducing noise to safe levels without sacrificing the quality of the sound or your ability to communicate.
The Acoustic Filter (-12dB): Perfect for concerts, festivals, clubs, bars, sports events, motorsport and any loud event where you want to protect your ears but still hear every note of the music or every word of a conversation. This filter is not ideal for loud power tools or shooting. We are working on a separate edition for these types of environments.

FIT & COMFORT
How do I know if they will fit my ears? Our Universal Fit Kit, featuring four sizes of medical-grade TPE ear tips (XS, S, M, and L). This ensures that no matter your ear size, you can find the perfect, airtight seal for maximum protection and comfort.
Will they stay in while I'm active? Absolutely. Whether you’re dancing at a music festival, riding a motorcycle, cheering on your favorite football team, or tossing and turning in bed, HearLume is designed to sit flush within the ear. When inserted correctly, they remain secure even during intense movement.
Are they comfortable for long-term wear? We use hypoallergenic, ultra-soft TPE designed for extended use. Because the filters allow air pressure to equalize, you won't get that "clogged" feeling often associated with cheap foam or plastic plugs.

THE EXPERIENCE
Can I still hear people talking? Yes! These filters are tuned to allow human speech frequencies to pass through more clearly than background noise. You’ll find you can actually understand people better in loud environments because the overwhelming "noise" has been dialed down.
Will I still feel the music at a festival? Yes. You will feel the bass, every note, the energy of the crowd - our acoustic filters will reduce the harmful decibels resulting from excessively loud volume down to a safer and more comfortable volume. Not only will you be able to protect your hearing, HearLume can actually make the music MORE enjoyable.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
How do I clean my HearLume earplugs? Hygiene is a major advantage of HearLume over disposable foam. To clean, remove the acoustic filters and wash the TPE tips with warm water and mild soap. Ensure the tips are completely dry before re-inserting the filters. Note: The acoustic filters should not be submerged in water.
How long will a pair of HearLumes last? HearLume is built for the long haul. The aluminum carry case and acoustic filters can last for years. We recommend replacing the TPE tips every 6–12 months if they show signs of wear to ensure you always have a perfect seal.
